Sunday, July 24, 2005 - Awful :

Slept quite late today. Must be the need to rest after all the strenous work done on saturday morning. It has really been a long time since I last exercise.

Blah. What's this awful feeling? Can't explain why so. Perhaps some part wishes to run away from that reality of having to go to school. FYP? Exams? That's just me. I feel dreadful doing stuff I do not enjoy at all. But it is a reality. Or its just a feeling of boredom? Feeling bored at home today actually. But at the same time, do not want to leave the house at all. Irony. Boredom lead to some thinking, to be exact, recollections of memories. Ack. Sometimes, history was just meant as a lesson so that one won't repeat the same mistake again.Sigh.

Saturday, July 23, 2005 - Workout in School :

Went to clean up school hostel in the morning. Mom and Dad came along to help out though. Brought some of the necessary items and equipment along, such as bedsheets, water boiler, pails and clothes for the cleaning. Still have alot to bring along next week like clothes and food.

I think I have rather bad direction sense. Still getting lost as usual. As everyone knows, NTU is build on some 'ulu mountain'. Lots of stairs all over the place. I got the blk number wrong (#43 instead of #42) and was climbing the wrong place up and down. Heh. What an exercise after breakfast.

The room seems big enough for a small me though. Haha. Probably can squeeze in another bed. But the floor was rather dirty. Luckily it was a workload split amongst 3 persons. The scrubbing of the floor to clear the dirt took quite an effort. Could feel that physically I am rather tired now. The workout lasted 2hrs before it finally ended. Thx Mom and Dad.

Well, wonder how would life proceed forth from here in school. A new experience living alone. Maybe a single room life will suit me more. =)

Back to school in 2 days time. Ack. Not looking forward to it still. FYP seems tough. Hopefully not having a choice at all in selecting my FYP is actually a blessing in disguse. Haiz.

Thursday, July 21, 2005 - Necromancer! :

Went to watch Necromancer with song at jubilee yesterday. Overall, was an interesting show I would say. Its a show about the thai art of using black magic and how some members of the police force makes use of it to resolve crime issues related to black arts. But the deeper one dabbles in the darkness, it will sooner stain one's soul. Well, a show that had a twist to it too. Not really scary show but contains some sickening scenes. Generally one of the better 'horror' shows these days.

Well, these days have been rather slack. Got to emphaise, school is starting. Last few days to enjoy! All the way!!

Sunday, July 17, 2005 - Lazy Sunday :

Supposed to go to hostel today to clean up.. Plans changed.. Mum decides to go next saturday instead.. Okay.. Fine.. Cos I havent really packed up the minor stuff to bring there.. The lazy worm still bores within me.. Hah.. Next week then consider bah..

Poor shirlynn.. Fell ill.. Must take care wor.. Meeting up with PHQ friends another time when all are available bah.. Hopefully can get to meet up and have crab feast! Hee.. The outings we had then was quite enjoyable actually.. Wonder how are everyone now.. Only seen them online or contact them thru sms.. Hopefully all are fine =)

Watching tv now.. Lazy around.. Having the packet version of fish and chips.. Maybe gonna play dota later.. Sunday has been a lazy day.. But I guess this is a good life? Not looking forward to boring and busy school life =p

Saturday, July 16, 2005 - Tiring Day :

Been a very long day.. But things went quite fine.. Received news that IA results are out.. Got an 'A'! Been quite lucky, as I find the grades that were given are very much dependant on one getting a generous supervisor and tutor in giving marks..

Went to play overnite majong at xiong's house with zhenting and xiong's cousin, andrew.. Only played 2 rounds of majong and it was already 3am.. Decided to proceed with playing Risk instead.. Thought it will be a short game.. But nah.. Even though it was a 2v2 game.. It ended up as a 1v1 game at around 6am.. xiong was eliminated, andrew fell asleep.. By 8am.. game finally ended.. Nearly a day without sleep.. Had breakfast and had to head off to NTU.. Got to collect my hostel keys as I was mis-informed on wed.. Waste my time.. zzz..

Long and tiring ride to school.. Was considering sleeping in my new room before I head home.. Found the room was in a rather dusty condition.. Probably due to the renovation earlier on.. But quite like my new room.. Not that small as expected.. And has a rather okay window view.. hee.. Looks like a serene environment.. The toilet on my floor also got renovated.. Cool.. Hopefully a great finally year ahead in NTU! :)

Reach home by noon.. Have a d&d game at 4pm.. Need sleep first.. Things seems to be going smoothly.. DM informs that game delayed to after dinner.. Can have a good 6hrs sleep then.. Been a good day in all.. Hopefully it goes the same for the rest of the week :)

Wednesday, July 13, 2005 - 13th, An Unlucky Day? :

Terrible day of bad luck.. Woke up in the morning feeling kind of weak.. The sensitive nose of mine giving me problems again.. Planned to meet up with terry and accompany him to the HP customer center, den head straight for NTU to collect my hostel keys.. Called up my hostel office and confirmed that the keys were ready for collection..

#1: Developed a running nose and was sneezing whilst in the bus.. Terrible feeling.. And the bus run to Alexander road was so long..

#2: Reached the care center.. As terry has to fill in some process forms, I went to get a drink through a vending machine in the service center.. Got rootbeer.. Hopefully it can help to relief the flu effect.. As I opened the drink.. The gas in it overflows and rootbeer was spilled all over the floor.. Some army boys who were sitting near me saw it and was laughing when they saw it.. Felt so embarrassed.. Decided to quickly leave the scene..

#3: Bid goodbye to terry who was heading home and went to NTU to collect my keys.. When I arrived at my hall office, the only guy in the office *And I believe I talked to him on the phone earlier on* told me that my keys are not ready for collection! Informed me that my block is under renovation and the keys will only be ready on friday.. I was dazed by his reply.. Decided not to make a hooha out of it.. Left the office in a very disturbed feeling..

#4: Head towards the school's popular bookshop to help james get his IA logbook.. Was listening to my headphones whilst I was walking.. Went past a female and a male who got out of their car.. They were carrying a small backing board.. I heard the female spoke something.. Was unclear of what she said.. Thought she wanted to do some survey with me.. So I turned around and looked at her.. She seemed stunned at my move and we were staring at one another for some time.. When I realised my mistake.. I quickly moved off and walked at a fast pace.. It was so embarrassing..

Moved pass the nanyang audit today.. It was actually convocation.. Saw shan actually.. Been a long time since I saw her.. hmm.. Saw cs too.. His sister's graduation.. His will be tmr..

Nothing really bad clocked the events that happened thereafter.. Met zs, xiong, fred and hanming at clementi for dinner.. Poor hanming.. He was badly made fun of.. but I guess he is already used to it.. Well.. The effects of the flu kicking in again.. Think got to get some rest now.. Hopefully tmr will be a luckier day =p

Monday, July 11, 2005 - F4 Movie Gathering :

Had a group gathering for a movie show yesterday at Plaza Singapura.. The largest gathering since months.. 10 people.. Nearly booked the whole row in the cinema wor! Well.. Manage to meet up with yih herng.. Been such a long time since we last met.. He has already graduated and now serving his remaining NS period with the army.. *Ow.. And I still had 1 year more to go* Been also quite some time since I met bao.. Heh.. Heard he had lots of fun during his orientation camp in NUS.. Dats good..

Well.. The gathering was a simple dinner at the food court.. Followed by watching the movie, "Fantasic Four".. For the show, I will give it a 3 stars.. Since I was looking forward to cool 'battle' scenes but there wasn't really any.. Not really very fantastic afterall.. Luckily the movie has some jokes along the way which made it more enjoyable..

When the show ended, it was already 10pm.. zs and james looks especially tired after the show.. They had been working all day.. Everyone parted and the more energetic guys like xiong, marcus, zhenting and me went to the nearby beancurd shop opposite Parklane to have a short supper..

Took a bus home thereafter with xiong.. Had some interesting conversation.. Will highlight it another day.. Well.. Time for bed.. Been a enjoyable day overall.. zzz..

Saturday, July 09, 2005 - To give candy or not? :

Is he being oversensitive? Petty? Watever.. Well, the proposed solution? Reassurance.. Ack.. I don't really care.. I don't like to give candy to a someone who is crying to shut him up because others are annoyed by the crying.. For convience sake, they said it is the most direct solution.. Ow.. In the long run, are you to continue giving him candy? Bother.. *Haiz*

- What a Supper! :

Just came back from supper. Met up with a group of friends at Ang Mo Kio Central S11; xiong, zs, james and shawn.. Can't say its a pleasant one.. Seems like communication problem again.. No one seems to mention the venue.. Only the time is known.. Was told that james would be at the arcade.. Hence, the assumption I made was to meet at the arcade as usual.. Wrong move..

Reached the arcade around 10pm.. Just nice.. Saw james but not the rest.. Latecoming problem.. Have been reaching always in time for the recent meetings for these few months, as I was always complain for arriving late.. Well, the pot calling the kettle black now? I decided to start playing a game and wait for the rest to arrive.. Towards stage 2 of the game, I received a call from james.. I was told they are meeting at Jubilee.. Replied that I am in a game and asked them to find a place to settle down for supper first.. Will meet up with them later.. Was told again that they are undecided of where to eat, and I was supposed to meet them up asap.. *huh? It was decided AMK le mar? Are they driving off to somewhere else?* I felt anger at that time.. Why was there a last minute change of plans? It wasn't the first time it happened.. Replied that I will come, leaving the game half-hanging there..

*Roar* Wanted to 'scold' the culprit.. When I arrived at Jubilee, james said he was merely passing a message to me.. When I asked about where are they having supper, zs said he thought it was already decided that we are having it at S11.. I was dumbfounded.. My culprit was found and it was poor communication..

Supper continued with the usual jokes.. And we end up in the arcade for a short while before we return home.. What a supper.. As I am typing my blog here.. I am going through a "Counselling" session here..

Well.. Things has to improve somehow.. Let's just see how things move on..

Thursday, July 07, 2005 - Backed.. :

Seems a long time since I last blogged.. I have 3 blogsites now.. Blogdrive no longer in use.. LiveJournal for my D&D open gaming stuff.. And this blogsite.. Erm.. For my thoughts bah..

Took quite some time to understand the rough programming for this site.. Finally managed to give it some twitching to make it 'darker'.. lol..

Well.. Lot of things happened since the period of my last blog on blogdrive.. Here goes..

The few months I have been quite rough up by all the programming during the industrial attachment.. Met and made lots of cool NTU friends then.. And had sort of slight fun during this period.. Got a lot of time to do some good thinking too, since life is not a smooth passage through the rough sea.. But I have gone through all of them and proud to say I am a survivor now! =P

Around 2 weeks left before school starts.. I have not yet done anything abt my FYP (Final Year Proj).. *Ack.. Hack care.. haha.. wanna spend more time having fun and meeting those friends I have not met for really x3 a long long time*

Hopefully most stuff can be settled and prepared for a new semester ahead bah! Not really looking forward to school life.. But I don't have a choice.. Pray hard its only 1 year left =p

Meantime, hopefully everyone is doing fine out there wor! Contact me if you are bored these days eh? Can always meet up for a cup of coffee.. =)
